WHAT CONTENT DO YOU COVER?

We work through the content of the Kent Test: Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning and Writing.

MY CHILD IS SHY. WILL HE/SHE FIT IN WITH THE GROUP SESSIONS?

I find that even the quietest of children become confident over a period of time. The small groups, with a maximum of 8 children, mean that every child has a voice and has a chance to interact with their peers and myself. With less of a focus on individuals, group sessions tend to be less intense for those who are not as confident, which allows them to focus on their learning without having to worry about anything else!

I HAVE TO CANCEL MY SESSION. WILL I STILL GET CHARGED?

After a couple of trial sessions, payment will be taken monthly. All term-time sessions are charged at full cost and any sessions missed during holidays will be charged 50%. No refunds will be given for last minute cancellations.

HOW DO I BOOK MY CHILD ONTO THE GROUP SESSIONS?

Get in touch via email or text to find out if there are spaces in the group sessions. I will email you with further details and booking information. Once payment has been received, your child will be booked on.

Yes! They will be expected to complete this each week to keep up with the work and their peers.

Homework helps to reinforce the work done during the session and is a vital part of our learning each week.

The answer to this varies hugely. This depends on your child's learning pace, how often they attend and how much they are willing to put into each session! There is no doubt that your child will progress if they try hard and stay consistent.

This allows me to focus on and give attention to each child within the given time. Small groups also allow each child to participate and have all of their questions answered.

I've been tutoring for 18 years and taught in a Primary School for 6 of those.

After leaving University with an English Language & Linguistics and Psychology degree, I began tutoring children aged 4-16. Soon after, I trained for a PGCE with Spanish. Here, I taught a range of year groups and spent time in each class to gain experience in how children of all ages learn.

Yes. I have an Enhanced DBS certificate and am on the Update Service, meaning that my certificate is updated and renewed automatically each year.
